The Road to Mount Zirkel

The Mt. Zirkel Wilderness Area sits astride the Continental Divide in the Routt Mountain Range in Northwest Colorado. This road travels just a mile from this point before it stops at a sign stating no vehicles except ski mobile beyond this point. The only way to go further into the wilderness area is by foot or horse back in the summer or by ski, snowshoe or ski mobile in the winter.
