The Reason I Don't Like Snow and Ice.

This is home and the hill with its road that I have to plow so we can get in and out when snow or ice falls on us. Because the hill is so long and steep we would never get out if I didn’t keep it plowed. I guess even an old man gets to play in the snow sometimes. We don’t get a lot of snow here in Southeast Missouri but when we do it turns our barren winter landscape into a winter wonderland.

There is a lake under the flat area in front of the house. The lake was frozen solid before the snow came.
