My Welsh Terrier - Tucker
His official registered name is “Plumb Tuckered Out” and he is a registered Welsh Terrier. I will not tell you how much I had to pay for him as an eight week old pup. This pose required a constantly repeated “Stay” command. He does not like to sit still for a pose.
The show dog hair cut has long side whiskers around the mouth and goatee with a short body cut. Tucker loves to chase foxes, ground hogs,squirrels and rocks so I keep him clipped short during our hot humid summers other wise I have to deal with a dog with a nasty wet mouth all summer. I let him grow long and bushy like this during the cold winters.

The Welsh Terrier originates from Wales and has been claimed to be the oldest existing dog breed in the UK. The Welsh Terrier was a latecomer to the British show-ring (being primarily a working dog used to hunt foxes, badgers and otters) and was not officially registered until the 1800’s. It is currently on the UK Kennel Clubs list of breeds that are in danger of dying out, having as few as 300 or so pups registered annually, compared to the nations most popular breeds that are registered in their tens of thousands each year. – Wikipedia.
